Shibaura Mechatronics Group takes these developments very seriously and, in line with our established basic policy on the environment, we adopt environmental measures on an almost daily basis.
As a producer of manufacturing equipment, the Shibaura Mechatronics Group advocates a policy of “do not use” and “do not emit” and thereby strives to minimize the natural resources utilized and the burdens placed on the global environment in carrying out our business activities, as well as making every effort to reduce CO2 and waste produced as a result of such business activities. Based on this policy, we are committed to reducing environmental loads from product development and production, and are endeavoring to cut back greenhouse gas emissions by offering customers manufacturing equipment capable of producing products while using even less energy and fewer materials.

Shibaura Mechatronics Group, draws on many years of technology accumulation (including expertise in precision mechatronics and vacuum, cleaning, sputtering, bonding and laser technologies) to concentrate on the development of manufacturing equipment for flat panel displays, semiconductors, media devices, electronic components and batteries, and all the related services that we deliver to our customers.
